There are some stores where you grab what you came for and leave in five minutes. Sacred Storm Buffalo is not one of those stores.
This is the kind of place where you keep spotting things out of the corner of your eye and changing directions every thirty seconds.
I originally started by looking at the bison products because, obviously, that’s one of the biggest draws there. They’ve got bison meat, snack sticks, jerky, bratwursts, sausages, salami, seasonings, and honestly enough options to make you suddenly feel underprepared for the grilling season.
But the more I looked around, the more I realized this place has a little bit of everything.
Beyond the store itself, Sacred Storm Buffalo is tied to a larger mission focused on supporting Native culture, local artisans, and community-based economic growth, which makes supporting the business feel even better. sacredstormbuffalo.org
