This trail system can range from a casual walk in the hills, to heart racing climb depending upon the route you travel. The trails are clearly marked to ensure you get the level that you desire. At the top, Buzzards Roost provides an amazing lookout area with clear views of the beautiful Black Hills including Black Elk, Boulder Hill, Thrall Mountain, Mount Wheaton and Scruton Mountain, just to name a few. The view also provides a picturesque look at the limestone walls lining Dark Canyon of Rapid Creek.
