The longest trail in Wind Cave National Park, Highland Creek trail is best done by leaving a vehicle at the Wind Cave Canyon parking area and starting at Highland Creek parking area. You can also combine portions of Centennial and Sanctuary trails to make loop if you are not able to leave a vehicle and aren’t up for the 18 mile out and back of the Highland Creek trail.
