This trail in Wind Cave National Park combines Lookout Point trail with a portion of the Centennial Trial to form a 5 mile loop. Doing this loop counter clockwise will have you starting your hike on an open prairie with plenty of views of prairie dogs. As you loop around and join the Centennial you will enter a more dense vegetation area and forest as you follow a creek for part of the time. Be on the lookout for poison ivy. Buffalo are often seen along the creek. Do not approach, they are dangerous.
