From the Belle Fourche Campground, you will follow the Campground Spur Trail to the start of Valley View trail. This trail is relatively flat and will give you views of Devils Tower and a prairie dog town. You can make a loop by taking a left at the Red Beds junction and then another left at the South Side Trail to take you back to the campground. The total mileage for that loop would be about 1.5 miles.
