Willow Creek Trail is a dirt covered loop that is located near Willow Creek and passes through forested areas of birch spruce and pine trees for 2.6 miles. The trail level is easy and will take 1–2 hours to complete. It also connects to the Lost Cabin and Black Elk Peak trails. We suggest traversing the path in a clockwise manner so you will end near the water fall and a shallow pool to cool off after your journey. The beginning of the trail offers little shade but you will have wonderful views of the Black Elk Wilderness and the Norbeck Wildlife Preserve along the way. Dogs on leashes are permitted and you will find an occasional horseback rider as well compliments of a horse camp near the trail head.
