This section of the 111 mile Centennial is mostly downhill after the first mile or so. It does intersect with the Sturgis Trail system in a couple of spots so if you want to take detour over to the Sturgis City dams, you can. There are a couple of creek crossings that can get deep depending on the time of year and how much moisture we’ve received.
