Coon Hollow is a well maintained single-track trail located South of Rockerville. It connects with the Flume Trail if you’d like to add distance to your hike.There is a parking lot. Enter Loop to the East to get the uphill portion out of the way (and get to the views faster) or enter from the west for an easier start. Don’t mistake the dirt road directly beside the Trailhead sign as the trail. It is actually a narrow, single track trail (to start) located to the east and/or west of the parking lot.
Interesting Features: well-packed and maintained dirt trail, portions of the trial are “paved” with rock making for beautiful pictures! Not technical or difficult but there is a (short) steep climb if starting from the East.
