Old Baldy is a moderate, longer hike through aspen, birch and pine trees. Most of the trail is rolling single track which winds it way up to the summit of Old Baldy Mountain for some nice views. This trail is a great trail to do in the fall as the leaves are changing colors. Although you will see a sign for Baldy Lake about half way through the trail, at certain times of year, there may be a puddle there, but calling it a lake is a stretch!
