The South Side trail is a fairly easy trail which starts near the Belle Fourche Campground and offers views of Devils Tower and a prairie dog town. At the end of the trail take a left to follow Red Beds Trail to the Devils Tower Visitor Center. If you take a right on Red Beds and follow for a short ways then another right on Valley View trail you will make a 1.4 mile loop and end up back at the Belle Fourche Campground.
