To begin the hike walk around the gate and follow the path. This is an easy trail that is good for both beginners and runners. The trail brings you through thick forest mostly on a wide maintained road. At the end of the hike you will be on the rim of the Stratobowl where there is a history plaque about the balloon flights in the 1930’s & 1950’s.
