This hidden gem is part of the Sturgis Trail System. It is a nice single track trail through the forest that ends at two of the Sturgis City Dams. You will have a short climb from the parking lot before dropping back down into the valley where the dams are located. The trail is easy to follow and has switchbacks to keep the climb from being too steep. You are not allowed to swim at the dams, however fishing is allowed with a valid fishing license.
